At Hack Club’s Assemble this summer, we were challenged to build stupid shit no one needs. After previously ideating a way to eliminate fake news in search, I began to question how something might work the other way around.

The idea was simple: the internet is a scary place, why don’t we keep it that way?

Here’s a quick demo:

If you pay close attention, you’ll notice that searches dissapear or fade depending on the analysis of its fake news. If it is considered real news, based on the presented dataset, then all images will turn into one of Zach Latta, the founder of Hack Club.
